Shayla and I bought our house at Oak Shores about 10 years ago, and were part-timers until June when we made it our primary residence. We’ve spent most of our married life in the Los Angeles area—Shayla as an Administrator with the Los Angeles Unified School district and I had an advertising/publishing and product development company for the Leisure and Travel Industry. We have two married daughters and three grandchildren. We enjoy Oak Shores more and more - - its unique country atmosphere, lake activities, and warm friendly neighbors continually remind us why we moved here. As Oak Shores continues to grow and develop, we hope that it holds on to these special qualities.
