The Oak Shores Volunteer Fire Department is looking for people that are interested in becoming volunteer firefighters!

 

Please feel free to join us on our drill nights, the first and third Thursday of the month at the Fire Department on lower Ridge Rider Road. You can also contact any of the current company members for information or the Company Administrator Marcus Dunlap at:

Fire Prevention Tips

  • Make sure your house number is clearly visible from the street. This is a requirement of the Homeowners Association and vital for a rapid emergency  response.

  • Clean your gutters to avoid debris buildup.

  • Beware of flammables around space heaters.

  • Clean Chimney and Standpipes

 On the right hand side of the home page is a section that has links to fire stations, which you can find Station 34 under.  There is also a link for statistics that will have the most recent data on the number and types of calls Station 34 has responded to
